escape to fantasy

The House of the Grey Dove

If Kings Elliot wrote prose, she would have written The House of the Grey Dove.

In my English Dark Fantasy debut, I navigate the lonely mind of a girl seeking refuge from both past and present in a story of standing up for yourself—or trying to.

Sam Hawke’s City of Lies piercing Jay Kristoff’s Nevernight, the spark of madness has been lit.

Look out for short stories and lore, or read the first two chapters (unedited)
here! Book Two is currently in the ideas stage.

Nieve and Aster

My interpretation, a dark and romantic interpretation, of Perenelle and Nicolas Flamel. Are you afraid of death?

N&A is a collection of short stories, the first of which I've already written (waiting for a response from Grimdark Magazine) and three more in the ideas stage.

Threat and Needle

Urban Fantasy. Set in a particularly strange London (and in France), this novel follows tailor extraordinaire Nathan Rosenblatt.

One evening, a lady visits to order a dress for the celebration of the birth of a famously infertile couple's child, hailed the Heir.

Meanwhile, France is in turmoil over the latest in a long line of uprisings. For the first time in history, however, magic hasn't picked a side.

As of now, Nathan is still in the UK. I hope to continue working on it at some point in the future. While you wait, here's the first 2000 words (edited).

Die Symphonie der Scherben

My German Dark Fantasy project.

Dealing with hate, love, prejudice, and the frightening ease with which good intentions spiral out of control.

Inspired by the disturbing road to WWI, I wanted to write something big, something tragic, something where everyone is convinced to fight for a good cause.

I am currently writing the penultimate volume of The Symphony of Shards, Engelstanz, and hoping to start editing the first volume soon.

Intrigued? Read my translation of the first  1500 words here! More to come.

[Urban Fantasy]

Not a placeholder. This is the actual title, square brackets included.

Laura is obsessed with fairies. In fact, she hates them to a degree that might just take her life. Or those of her friends.

In this Urban Fantasy novel, which is also an urban fantasy, disillusioned journalist Laura Ehedydd must learn to widen her narrow mind if she wants the truth.

This is the first novel I wrote in English. The sequel is on hold as I focus on getting The House of the Grey Dove out there.

Why don't you take a look at the prologue and the first chapter here?

This is a drill. Don't panic.

Science Fiction! With an ever-so-slight touch of Fantasy! This short story is about half-finished, editing naturally not included.
